Terms of Service

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Coda on a single device per license key. Lifetime licenses include all updates within the same major version. Subscription licenses include all updates for the duration of an active subscription.

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share your license key with third parties
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from Coda except where permitted by law
• Use Coda to violate the terms of service of any game or platform you use it with
• Use Coda for unlawful purposes

Each license key is bound to the hardware on which it is first activated. You may reset the hardware binding through your account portal if you change devices. We reserve the right to limit excessive resets.

Prices are listed at coda-apps.com/pricing. Payments are processed by our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record, who is the legal seller of record for tax purposes. Subscription plans automatically renew until cancelled. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your account portal at coda-apps.com/account.

We may release updates, patches, and new features. We reserve the right to discontinue features or the Software entirely with reasonable notice. In the case of subscription cancellation due to discontinuation, remaining time will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

Coda is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that Coda will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all hardware or games. We do not warrant that use of Coda is permitted by any game or platform — it is your responsibility to ensure your use complies with the terms of service of games and platforms you use Coda with.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Coda, including but not limited to game account bans, hardware damage, lost game progress, or lost income. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key and account credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or license.

We may terminate or suspend your license if you breach these Terms, including license sharing, redistribution, or fraud. Upon termination, you must cease all use of Coda. No refunds will be issued for licenses terminated due to breach.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts at our place of business, to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer protection law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via the Website at least 14 days before they take effect.
